The MARTA rail lines that could have been

The old MARTA rail map! I’m always a little sad to see this. I remember in the 80s when I first started riding MARTA how exciting it was to see those planned (yet never built) rail lines stretching out to places like Emory University.

I wonder how different the city would be today if those lines had actually been built a couple of decades ago.
